According to Kopanhagen police, friends were released after spending two weeks on Monday, but they have been ordered to contact the authorities every day after seizing the passport, Kopenhagen police said.
Copenhagen police spokesperson told Fox News Digital, “In this case, they have been charged, as the standard process is to confiscate the passport till the court hearing.”
Their next court hearing is fixed on April 24.

Ray’s Denmark-based lawyer did not immediately respond to the request made for the comment of Fox News Digital.

The University of Miami in Ohio did not immediately respond to the request for the comment of Fox News Digital.
“I hope Denmark and the legal officials here are capable of the legal officials – and the US government can help us and what they can do to help us with Easter, so I can stay home with my family,” Ray said “Good Morning America”.
“I think Danish police and plaintiffs should leave the case at this stage, because we are completely innocent and they returned us our passports and allowed us to return to the United States.”
