Fans will be hoping Turki Alalshikh will send the Mason Vs. Fighting Keyswein before Davis Outgrows lightly

Lightweights Abdullah Mason and Keyswein Davis are the latest brand ambassadors for the cycle. Fans are now hoping for Turki Alalshikh to set up a fight between them before Keyswein (13-0, 9 kos) grew in the weight class.

#4 WBC and #8 WBO, Mason (18-0, 16 ko) and Keyswein are both promoted by top position. It would be an easy battle to make. It is clear that they will keep them apart to get two separate revenue streams, but now that they are brand ambassadors for Turki magazine, it would be an ideal boot for him to set up for one of his Riyadh season events.

Who first blinks?

Mason, 21, has not been tested against world-class world-class opposition during his short four-year career, but is not a keyswein. He has avoided Andy Cruz and has not shown much ambition to fight Raymond Muratalla. Although Keyswein called out Gervonta Davis and Vasily Lomachenko, that is more about wanting the pay days rather than believing he can beat either of those men. Turki would use his draw to fight between Mason and Keyswein as an excellent battle for the heading of one of his cards in Riyadh. Whoever loses against Shakur Stevenson could be paired.

For the native of Norfolk, Virginia, Keyshawn, it is more important for him to get a big fight before he leaves section 135 lbs. He killed himself, making pressure to stay light, but he can’t do so indefinitely. The time of the 2020 Davis Olympic currency medalist ends quickly in that section, and may not have the same success at 140 or 147 because there are no easy marks for a belt.
