According to a US geological survey, 5.2 earthquakes were surprised on Monday afternoon in San Diego, California and surrounding areas.
The Julian in California (18:00 GMT) was earthquake at 10:08 at 10:08.
The resort city is in the Kuimaka Mountains for about an hour to the northeast of the San Diego.
About two hours after the earthquake, San Diego city spokesperson Peret Godwin told the BBC that there was no news of structural damage or injury.
The San Diego Sheriff’s office also states that “no reports of earthquake injuries or major damage have been received,” but he said it was a “developing situation.”
